This weekend during the NBA All Star celebration, adidas took over The Row in DTLA to host their own mini festival, the 747 Warehouse St, that brought together sports and culture in a really authentic way. The event was home to shoe raffles, exclusive releases, customizing stations, live music performance, food trucks and much more. On Friday, Cashmere worked with adidas and Snoop Dogg to host the first annual Hip Hop All Star basketball game.
Snoop and fellow rap star 2 Chainz drafted teams to compete in an one-of-a-kind East vs West challenge. Snoop, alongside the likes of Chris Brown, David Banner and The Game, went up against a 2 Chainz team that included players like Jadakiss, Wale and Trinidad James. Snoop’s team took home the crown, and the Doggfather was named game MVP. The game was played on the 747 Warehouse St outdoor court designed by adidas partner Pharrell. We also checked out amazing performances from N.E.R.D., Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi and Kanye. With the industry speaker panels, appearances from adidas pro athletes from many sports, and the unique hands-on experience with the shoes, 747 Warehouse St was one of the best events we attended over the weekend, when LA was full of branded experiences and celebrity parties.
