Weekend Recap

As a multicultural lifestyle agency, we can't help but admire and thank Martin Luther King Jr. for helping pave a future for many of us here today. Check out what the Cashmere team did over the 3-day holiday weekend!RyanNat This weekend I watched both football games on Sunday I still can't believe what happened in Seattle. After the 4th pick Wilson threw I yelled "Blouses" because I thought that was game over, and then Pete Carroll's magic took over and Seattle won. It was crazy. Crazy.Sunday night I went to my cousin's wedding and it was really good to see family and catch up with people I hadn't seen in a while. I had a great time and I'm incredibly happy for my cousin Lisa! I tried the Porchetta sandwich at The Kroft and it was delicious. I'm still thinking about it right now.. I want it in my mouth. Pause. After devouring that delicious sandwich, I hit up the Pop Bar to check out the spot everyone was getting popsicles and Instagramming about. It was disappointing. Very disappointing. PEOPLE JUST DOING IT FOR THE GRAMS. Overall though, its pretty cool spot with tons of different food options. Definitely will be going back. Just wish it wasn't so damn far. –Allen (Twitter|Instagram)http://instagram.com/p/yFKEHqrlJh/?modal=true"Empowerment begins with love...integrity, honesty, virtue - that's what it is all about." Shout out to Mark Ridley-Thomas who founded the Empowerment Congress in 1992 & has created this annual event for community to come together. Thanks @azul213 for the invite, raising my awareness & introducing this to me. It was day full of spirit & an honor to meet many people from the community whose actions are making a difference. #ECSummit23 #EngageEducateEmpowerA few of the quotes from the day... The arts & culture build social capital." @lacommons Karen Mack "Everyone has heard of #BlackLivesMatter but few know our demands, it's not just a hashtag" Mark Anthony of @dignityandpowernowRona (Twitter|Instagram)  [wpvideo 15KulWJJ]This 3-day weekend I went to go to the shooting range to practice my skills just incase there ever is a zombie apocalypse. I shot a glock and a 917 (the recoil was so strong on this gun that it left a mark in my skin). After I went to the golf range and shot some balls. I haven't play golf since highschool so it definitely was a struggle to get back on my game. –Michelle (Instagram)
