Participants included:Lost Voices, a powerful youth group from Missouri who discussed their experiences on the grounds in Ferguson and the blatant injustices from their perspective.Lucia McBath, the mother of slain Florida teen Jordan Davis and the National Spokesperson for Mom Demands Action for Gun Violence in America who urged people to vote on gun responsibility and be more present in their communities to ignite change.Chuck Creekmur, the CEO of AllHipHop.com who spoke on the media's responsibility to spread the right message and get the right voices heard.Tef Poe, St. Louis rapper and activist featured in Time Magazine who spoke about gun violence, race relations and police brutality in Ferguson.Snoop Dogg also stopped by to drop a few words about the importance of the "No Guns Allowed" anti-gun violence campaign that he started with the League, his SYFL that provides positive, recreational outlets for inner city youth and what needs to be done in our neighborhoods to keep the peace.Lastly, Michael Brown's family and their attorney Benjamin Crump were also in attendance and were able to witness a positive dialogue chiming for change. At the end of the discussion, the family expressed their gratitude and gave a few words about the importance of keeping these conversations going and going out the polls to ensureUltimately, the event was a success with an objective to create an additional platform for the hip-hop community, victims and thought leaders to speak out and discuss solutions to these ongoing, deep-rooted issues in American society. Snoop did an amazing job hosting the show and kept the audience thoroughly entertained the entire evening. Another Cashmere client, YG, was also a strong presence at the show. He was nominated for a total of five BET Awards and performed during Awards. –Brianne (Twitter|Instagram)

kyle weekend I had a great weekend relaxing in Santa Barbara with friends. Saturday night we went out to Velvet Jones in downtown SB to catch one of our LA favorites Tokimonsta spin. She put on a great show with a mix of newer tracks from her album, along with her older hits. She even dropped ODB's 'Baby I Like It Raw' to the surprise of the crowd. Another favorite, Made In Heights, opened the show with their amazing productions and entertaining live show. –Kyle (Twitter|Instagram)

It was amazing but the restaurant was tiny so expect to wait a long time even though not many people are in line. Portions are HUGE! And then got back to my car and found out I got a parking ticket for being 30 SECONDS late!! (and i'm talking literally 30 seconds late.....) —Michelle (Instagram)
