On Thurs. Dec. 10, Cashmere Agency's own Brianne Pins joined Music Unites' Music Unites Music-Versity Career Panel at Centennial High School in Compton, CA, which is Kendrick Lamar's alma mater. Music Unites, founded by Michelle Edgar, works towards transforming inner city landscapes by empowering urban youth through music.
The day was filled with top entertainment and music executives from ICM, Complex Media, The GRAMMYs, Cashmere Agency, Warner Music, Fathom Events, MusiCares, Troy Carter, Quincy "QD3" Jones III and more. The group spoke to more than 200 students about the importance of education, the entertainment industry, careers and how music has helped guide all of them in their lives.
