Have Mercy! Full House is Coming Back in 2016
John Stamos announced yesterday that he is producing a sequel to Full House which will be aired on Netflix in 2016. The series will focus on DJ Tanner, the eldest daughter in the original series, as she navigates being a recently widowed and pregnant veterinarian. Paralleling her father's situation in the original series, DJ invites her best friend Kimmy Gibbler and her sister Stephanie Tanner to help her raise her two sons, J.D. and Max.Current talks regarding guest spots with the remaining original cast, including Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), and Lori Laughlin (Rebecca Katsopolis), and of course, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner) are ongoing and have not been confirmed.This isn't the first time Netflix has revived a show under their programming. Cult comedy series Arrested Development was brought back for a 4th season in 2013 and earned three Emmy nominations. Let's see if this revival lives up to its fans weighty expectations.
