GoPro, Go Good!
A big part of being a great publicist is doing your homework! This means finding new reporters, new beats and segments and finding out what type of stories/trends news outlets are running. Today, we came across a pretty amazing PR story for GoPro on CNN's "New Day" show — the story highlights some of the "good deeds" people have done that were captured on their GoPro cameras. We're not sure if this was a strategic PR story that the GoPro publicity team pitched to CNN... nevertheless it's a great look for the company and a well-rounded creative story (outside their usual product announcements) that raises awareness of the camera company.
