Goodnight, Sweet Half-Blood Prince, Sweet Starman

This week, we lost two legendary people in the world of film and music. The world will never forget the works of both David Bowie and Alan Rickman. I, personally, was not an active fan of Bowie but I am aware of the impact and influence he had on the world with his music and creativity. Alan Rickman, on the other hand, I grew up watching. First, as Hans Gruber in Die Hard and then in all eight Harry Potter films over the span of 10 years. There's not really much to say about these two that most people don't already know, so here are some tributes to the late and great David Bowie and Alan Rickman.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4d8QrRJvsEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-JqH1M4Ya8David Bowie managed to release a brand-new album right before his passing. The album, Blackstar, is now seen as his goodbye letter to the world.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GorPPLfJ7s0And here's to all the great roles that Alan Rickman has played in the past, including my favorite, Severus Snape.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPrYtb6diu8And to finish it off, this clip from The Simpsons was recently re-released. The clip portrays a parody of Love Actually with Benedict Cumberbatch voicing a cameo by Severus Snape. Also, the song in the background is Mott the Hoopie's All the Young Dudes, which happens to be written by David Bowie. Coincidence?! I'll let you decide.
