Booksmart Hailed As One Of The Best Movies Of 2019

As the summer movie season comes to a close, critics everywhere have been compiling their best films of the year lists and they all have one commonality: Booksmart.

Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut blew audiences away as her cast of lovable high school girls plan their last days of high school akin to the 2007 film Superbad that followed a young Jonah Hill and Michael Cera on their mission to finish high school with a bang. USA Today ranks Booksmart #1 on their list of best films of the year so far while Cinemablend ranks the comedy at #3 and the critics at Rotten Tomatoes places it in a tie with Toy Story 4 at #9. Other outlets such as Insider, The Guardian, A.V. Club, and Variety also list the teen comedy as one of their favorite films of the year.

Booksmart is a  film that wonderfully showcased representation for people of color and the LGBTQ community, Booksmart proves that diversity is the winning formula!

If you haven’t seen the flick all the critics are raving about then you can catch Booksmart on digital August 20th and on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 3rd.
