#BlackPantherChallenge Goes Viral!

2018 marks the beginning of the new Black Panther Movement, also known as #BlackPantherChallenge. Earlier this month, New Yorker, Fredrick Joseph started a GoFundMe for the wonderful kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem to see Ryan Coogler's new film, Black Panther starring Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan. His goal was to raise $10,000 so his young mentees could finally "see themselves in a story". After raising over $42,000 and appearing on Ellen, his efforts have turned into the new national challenge.

Community leaders around the nation and even celebrities have started over 100 campaigns to help kids see the film. Snoop Dogg (along with Jemele Hill and Viola Davis) has also joined the challenge and pledged to set up his own screening for Los Angeles Youths.

Releasing in theaters on February 16, 2018, Black Panther is already claiming it's ranking as movie of the year with an immense and cultural impact.
