2015 marked a major shift in consumer habits, with around 103 million Americans participating in the “Super Bowl of Shopping” via the internet – just a little more than the 102 million who opted for the brick-and-mortar retail option.
Deloitte’s recently published survey found that 87% of consumers surveyed planned on shopping from the comfort of their laptops, desktops, and homes while 84% reported that they planned on heading into a physical retail store.
The rise of the e-commerce market, with Amazon and similar, coupled with the Black Friday madness that more and more deters shoppers from braving the crowds – consumer habits are shifting online.
The Cashmere Team agrees, why brave the stressful and maddening crowds when you can take advantage of Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday online deals?
Happy Thanksgiving and happy shopping!
